- Procesador AMD fx 6200 a 3,8 6x black edition
- 16Gb de memoria Kingston Hyper Blue
- Placa Gygabate Chipset bridge x2 AMD 970 y SB950
- Tarjeta grafica Sapphire Ati Raedon HD 1Gb GGDDR 3

Soy mi batería, mi bajo, mi guitarra solista, mi guitarra rítmica o mi cantante.

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

Escala mayor y escala menor<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">
www.rockandrollparamunones.com

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">
Tónica - 2ª mayor - 3ª mayor - 4ª justa - 5ª justa - 6ª mayor - 7ª mayor

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">
Un ejemplo práctico. ¿ Queremos obtener algo blusero ?

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

Aunque la versión instrumental llevaba tiempo en el blog, hoy he subido la versión cantada por Roberto de I'm Not Alone.
<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Inconsolata,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">- Escala Mayor y Menor naturales.
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">- Acordes.
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">- Modos.
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">http://aprendoguitarra.com/armonia/los-modos-griegos-%C2%A1al-fin.php

<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Un saludo

Saludos
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">o==--.--==o==--.--==o==--.--==o==--.--==o==--.--==o==--.--==o
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">Two of the useful tools on the BR600 are the BASS and Acoustic Guitar simulators. On next posts, we will see some modified presets in orden to improve the sound of acoustic simulator, but now we're going to speak about the Bass.
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">We must to take into account that the BR600 have to process any signal recieved to convert it. This process is complex and take several time. The signal is converted from analog to digital, it's processed and then is again convert from digital to analog. And all this process with any received signal, that is, for all the clear notes and also with any noise produced at playing.
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">For this reason when we play dirty or some notes are sounding (we don't mute well), the BR600 don't know how to process the sound and it will generate an unpleasant result.

Then, to get a clear sound we have to play very careful. We never can use chords or play two notes at the same time, and alse we will careful with long notes.
Other aspect to be taken into account is the pickup selection. Tying with some combinations, finally I have checked that the best result is gotten with the bridge pickups, cause them produce a defined and clear signal.

I realize that all of us would play with the fingers as Steve Harris's style, but I don't recomend you this on the BR600 :-(

Or you're very accurate with the fingers, or you will have to use a pick.

Later I'll upload some presets for the Bass that are running fine for us. To give you a clue for your tests we recommend play with the noise gate. Leaving the threshold very low, and giving and higher value to the attack, we can get very cleary sounds.

Be ready for the next entry ...
Regards

TheBertoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17488013829606609728noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3767971775346486603.post-81892874002557894702011-03-29T12:02:00.000-07:002011-03-29T12:02:03.153-07:00Entries traslated to EnglishHi.
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">Los presets 1-Mix Down y 14-Rock Band dan muy buenos resultados.

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">

TheBertoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17488013829606609728noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3767971775346486603.post-38463196455211963142011-03-10T09:33:00.000-08:002011-03-10T09:33:26.775-08:00BOSS BR-600. Bouncing - Mezclando (2da. parte)<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">Una vez visto cómo realizar una mezcla básica, podemos dar mayor colorido a nuestra grabación añadiendo nuevos detalles.
A ver, me aclaro.
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">

TheBertoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17488013829606609728noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3767971775346486603.post-6001279478725287432011-03-02T14:05:00.000-08:002011-03-02T14:05:47.935-08:00BOSS BR-600. Bouncing - Mezclando (1ra. parte)<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">(*) If you wish this article translate, please let me know ;-)
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">Antes de centrarnos en cómo realizar la mezcla en el BOSS BR tenemos que tener en cuenta una cosa: "En el pre-master NUNCA aplicar efectos como: fade-out, fade-in, etc. ".
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">On hold for some weeks, but I promise you resume the blog soon.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">On one hand improving the skills (musical theory, technique, etc), on the other hand working with the sound quality (tweaking effects, mixing, renewing, etc)

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">And now looking for a NEW VOICE for TheBertos, meanwhile Roberto is focused on his fanzine. Someone would try it ?TheBertoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17488013829606609728noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3767971775346486603.post-8977245240890108362010-11-30T15:10:00.000-08:002010-11-30T15:10:06.327-08:00Panning. Taking performance to stereo<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">Panning is basically distribute our sound fonts around an imaginary arch joining our ears and in front of us. By this reason, is very important get a good distribution of them. We will get this using the panning with the volumen and reverberation.

We achieve amplitude for our sound and we clear it of noise the zones used by some instruments.
All we know the famous "Wall of sound" developed by Phil Spector.
This power on this effect is due in grand part to these elements

Go with it. We know that we ear in stereo and this one give us a sensation about how the sound is distributed. We have to think about the band in front of us. ¿ How many members have, wich instrument/musician is the most relevant, etc ?
We can imagine a kind of clock in front of us (as the aviators). 9 o'clock will be the left extrem, 12h will be the center and the 3 o'clock will be the right edge.

If we will use the BR-600, we can apply a range on each track from L50 to R50

We will advance from the easiest examples to the most specific.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">Main Voice and Drums/Perscussion
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">These elements have to be on the center, this is, at 12 o'clock.
Speaking about the drums, this on have is "natural" pan: kick and snare on the center, aerials and toms panned
On the BR-600 we will not need to modify this parameter.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">Bass.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">In my opinion a like to left the bass with a light separation from the singer.
On the BR, we are speaking about values between 15-25.

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">Electric Guitars.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">On the guitars I apply a hard balancing. As this sound is the more predominant we have space to the rest of instruments, so I use values between 30-40.
Soloing, we can center the sound, using the same value applied to the bass, but in the other channel.
If we have an special pass, or we should left it on a second plane, we have to apply high values to this parameter and decrease the constrast with more reverb. We have to be careful with the extrems, this could produce unplesant effects.
If we have two guitars, we will move them to both channels. But it isn't necesary to have the same value. Even, it's recommended to use different values. In example, one guitar with R45 and the other with L35

Using the balancing over the guitars we can get very fat and clean sounds. On this point I would like to add a reference to Donovan Banks and his video about this question. On latter post we will discuss about this theme.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">http://africanstage.blogspot.com/2009/12/how-to-get-fat-guitar-tones-on-boss.html%20
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">Acoustic Guitars
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">This kind of guitars are usually nest to the main voice. For this reason, we can start with a light efect, around 20-30. And then we can increase the range
In other cases, if there are some acoustic guitars we can distribute them, on both channels and giving them higher values

This efect has been used on our song "I'm Not Alone". We recorded four guitars and them applied diffents values to the panning, creating in this way an wid sound, without annoy the voice.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">Chorus and other instruments.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">To distribute the rest of instruments we have to be sure about the finnal effect that we want to get. Normally we start with those values between the bass and the guitars (25-30) or moving then to the limits (50)
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">We have to combine the panning whit the Reverberation and the Volume
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">REVERB y VOLUME applied on the OUTPUT signal
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">On the post dedicate to the BOUNC we will analize the volumen on the final step.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">Now, we're going to work with the volume to create a sensation of distance between us antd the instruments.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; text-align: justify;"><div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">With the reverberation we could achive a sensation for deph for our record. With higher values this effect will be strong and we will get more distance from the main sound.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">We we apply reverberation we need to adjust the volumen, on some case decreassing it. It could be sound strange but the rev add a little amount of volume.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">We usually apply a medium rev to the drums (25-30) give them more body, and an slight value to the voice (10-15) to amplify it's sound
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">You've to be careful when you apply higher values to the voice, because when we are mastering we can find a result very exaggerated . This is on the the reason why we remove all the reverb on the input, appling it on the final bounce.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">As you can see this is a easy introduction but effective.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">On this point of the production I suggest you to use headphones, as thier design will help us to "see" cleary the position of each instrument. On this step, the monitors don't get us this precission.
<div style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">On the next post .... BOUCING !!!!
TheBertoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17488013829606609728noreply@blogger.com0
